Balkan Bistro & Bar

Charlie and I had a bit of a date night the other week.  We started the evening at the Balkan Bistro & Bar right on West Main.  Having never been, I didn’t know what to expect.  The layout of the place is a bit strange.  The building used to be a furniture store and for some reason, the bistro is only taking over half the space.  It’s a very long and narrow dining area and it probably takes the waitstaff an actual minute or two to get from the front to the back, making service a bit slow.  The bar is located towards the back of the room.

I had the traditional Cevapi and Charlie had the Kielbasa.  It’s a lot of food and it’s delicious.  Very garlic-y.

We’ll have to check it out for the bar next time.
